Outside Streetball is Charleston’s first streetball, music, and arts festival. It’s bigger than basketball.
Born from a journey chasing courts around the world, Outside brings that global street energy home. This is where hoops, music, and art meet the energy of the city in one full-out celebration. We’re here to connect creators, competitors, and communities, from jaw-dropping dunks to live musical performances, bold murals, and great food.
Outside is for anyone who sees the world as a canvas - or a court. Whether you're here to play, perform, or just enjoy a unique experience, Outside Streetball Festival is for you.

Yep. Outside is for everybody. Bring the crew, bring the family, bring the next generation of hoopers.

Outside is an outdoor event and will go on rain or shine. If weather impacts the event, we’ll share updates through our official channels.
All ticket sales are final. If the event is canceled, ticket holders will be contacted with next steps.
Way more than basketball. Expect high-energy 3-on-3, a stacked dunk contest, DJs, a headline performance, live art, food, drinks, merch, brand activations, and plenty happening off the court.
Come for the hoops. Stay for everything else.

You already know. Selected dunkers will throw down in front of a live crowd for a $5,000 cash prize. Expect this one to get loud.
Players earn their shot through official Outside qualifying runs and open court sessions. We use these runs to find the players and teams ready to compete on festival day.
The final field is curated, but qualifying opportunities are open. Spots are limited and earned based on performance, competitiveness, and overall fit.
We keep the field limited on purpose — better matchups, smoother games, and nonstop energy from start to finish.
Parking and transportation details will be released closer to the festival. Keep an eye on our socials and website before event day.
Some, but Outside is a festival-style experience. Expect to be on your feet, moving around, watching games, checking out the art, grabbing food, and catching the music.
There will be some shaded areas, but a lot of the action happens outside. Check the forecast and come ready for a full day outdoors.
Comfortable clothes, sunscreen, your crew, and a valid ID if you’re 21+ and planning to drink.
And your Outside energy. Obviously.
Certain items won’t be permitted for safety and venue reasons. We’ll release the full prohibited-items list closer to festival day.
Pet policies follow The Refinery’s venue guidelines. Service animals are welcome.
We want Outside to be an experience everyone can enjoy. If you have specific accessibility needs, reach out ahead of the festival so we can help you plan your day.
